The House Structure:
When a student is admitted to the school, they are placed in one of four Houses: Amboseli, Mara, Samburu or Tsavo. There are regular inter-house cultural events, along with inter-house sports fixtures. Students in each House are appointed as House Captains and these provide positive opportunities for developing leadership skills.
Major annual drama and musical productions are staged each year, ensuring that students have ongoing opportunities to exercise their talents in theatre, song
Sport is an integral feature of life at Brookhouse, allowing our pupils to experience a diverse range of sports to develop their mental, physical and social well being. We aim to ensure that students enjoy physical activity and that they can compete healthily in individual and team competition. Key to our approach is that students are taught the importance of good sportsmanship.
Brookhouse nurtures a culture of music appreciation and participation in our students from an early age and students are given the opportunity to acquire music skills throughout the Prep and Secondary schools. In addition, the BTEC Diploma in Music offers an advanced foundation for entry to university or proceeding to employment in the music industry.
